It's our job as marketers to always recognize the need to adapt.
Palm Desert, CA (PRWEB) July 20, 2015
AskPatty.com Inc., a website, blog, and online resource that serves as a safe haven for women to get advice on car purchases, preventative maintenance and repairs, and other automotive related topics, has announced a new phase in the ongoing evolution of its Certified Female Friendly® Program, aimed at assisting automotive retailers in attracting and retaining women customers.
“The industry has changed since this program launched back in 2006, and the world of marketing has changed big time,” says Jody DeVere, AskPatty.com CEO. “It's our job as marketers to always recognize the need to adapt.” The newly revamped Certified Female Friendly program will focus on marketing consultation and aim to foster a positive culture among Certified locations. The programs' availability also expands, now being offered to automotive brands in addition to dealerships, service locations, tire dealers, quick lubes, parts stores, car washes and credit unions.
The Certified Female Friendly® program's previous focus, on training and advertising support, will remain in place, while the re-launched program's primary focus with clients will shift to place a heavier emphasis on consultation. “What we provide for our clients changes over time based on their needs and on the changes in marketing best practices, so that we can always provide a program that gets results. A company that doesn't change doesn't continue to produce results.”
Industry Veteran Cherie Watters Returns to AskPatty.com as Head of Dealer Division
Continuing the overhaul of the AskPatty.com programs, former President of Sales and Marketing, returns to the company as Head of AskPatty.com's new Dealer Division. “The kind of service that will work for the independent shop or tire dealer will not work in the dealer world. Dealers are very unique,” explains Jody DeVere. “Part of our renewed focus on giving our clients the support they need is moving our dealers into their own category, so that they're treated differently from start to finish. We really take our work in the dealer world very seriously.”
The AskPatty.com Certified Female Friendly re-launch, according to DeVere, was inspired in part by the company's successful relationships with other brands such as NEXEN Tire, Turtle Wax, Cooper Tire, Armor All, and Sylvania. “We're attracting a lot of attention from parts of the industry we've never touched before,” Jody explains, “so it's time to make a change for everybody. These are great changes, I think!”
In celebration of the relaunch, Cherie Watters will be joining Jody DeVere at this year's Women in Automotive (WiA) Conference. They will be joined by speakers from across the auto industry including Tammy Darvish (PenFed Credit Union), Susan Scarola (DCH Charities), Lisa Copeland (Fiat/Alfa Romeo of Austin). This year's WiA Conference is sponsored by Cars.com, Cox Automotive, Pen Fed Credit Union, Autobytel, Ally, TrueCar and many more, and will take place August 18, 19, and 20 in Orlando, FL.
