As an independent company, we have been able to work with most major billing and EHR companies to date

Perioperative-management software developer, ePreop, today announced it has been successfully submitting QCDR data from AnesthesiaValet™ clients through the Anesthesia Quality Institute’s (AQI) Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR). AnesthesiaValet™ helps providers avoid Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) penalties. More importantly, ePreop’s QCDR Ready status will play a role in standardizing quality outcome data collection while improving the delivery of patient care.
“As an independent company, we have been able to work with most major billing and EHR companies to date,” said Dr Bergman, CEO “and while AnesthesiaValet™ works as a complete standalone solution, we have also been able to leverage our technology as a plugin with most of the large EHRs on the market. We have eliminated double documentation for our providers by working seamlessly out of EHRs like Epic, MEDITECH, Picis and many others. I am proud of our company’s ability to provide great service to our clients while having a positive impact on patient care.”
AQI’s registry takes the case data physician anesthesiologists submit and then develops reports, which are provided to the physician. These reports accompany a real time analytics platform that is included for every AnesthesiaValet™ client. According to the AQI’s website, the reports give clients information, which includes changes in performance over time, as well as group performance in national and peer-based contexts.
AnesthesiaValet™ software platform is wholly owned by ePreop, Inc. ePreop was founded by physicians in 2008, to solve the problems they saw in the operating room every day. The company’s premiere software suite, SurgicalValet™, is increasing efficiency, reducing waste and improving outcomes in hospitals and surgery centers around the country.
