“What started off as a small voice in my head five years ago has turned into a worldwide forum for women everywhere to share their stories and connect with each other. It has been incredibly powerful,” says Women For One founder, Kelly McNelis.

Women For One, a global community of over 2 million women who are empowering each other by sharing authentic stories and truths, has launched a new and exciting website to allow users improved interaction and easier access to information that inspires them. The much-anticipated launch will take place July 21, 2015 and can be found at http://www.womenforone.com.

“What started off as a small voice in my head five years ago has turned into a worldwide forum for women everywhere to share their stories and connect with each other. It has been incredibly powerful,” says Women For One founder, Kelly McNelis.

“We will continue to highlight Truthtellers through inspiring interviews with Truthtellers like the late Dr. Maya Angelou; Ariana Huffington, named by Forbes as one of the most powerful women in the world; don Miguel Ruiz, best-selling author of “The Four Agreements”; best-selling author and activist Marianne Williamson; actress, author, and speaker, Sheila Kelley; author, speaker, and inspiration to millions, Jeff Brown; and Ram Dass, one of America’s most inspirational spiritualists, to name just a few,” McNelis added. “We are now reaching 20,000 unique users each month from 40 different countries, and the demand for real, heartfelt interaction is incredible.”

In addition to interviews with well-known Truthtellers, Women For One features stories told by everyday women – and even a few men. They touch on issues like spirituality, relationships, trauma, aging, financial stress and success, philanthropy, wellness, mental illness, emotional healing, and parenting. There is no limit to the types of stories that are submitted.

“We connect women so that they can share their stories and inspire action that will transform the way they live, love, and learn,” McNelis explains. “We are all pioneers of our own growth and experiences. It takes courage, love, and action to evolve throughout our lives. We want to hear from you about your journey and life lessons learned.”

It is an exciting new direction for Women For One as the community continues to expand and evolve. “I have always said that, if you dare to step into your dream, the path will follow. Our new website is another example of how, when we have the courage to dream big, we receive big,” says McNelis.

About Women For One

Women For One began with an idea. Story by story, Wf1 has grown into a community of inspiration and truth, and with every woman who’s shared, others have emerged changed, empowered, and inspired.

Kelly McNelis founded Women For One out of her Seattle home in early 2011 because of a powerful and encouraging inner voice. For the past five years, this movement has grown into a brave community sharing truth. Through sharing, women find inspiration, community, and can create action that makes a brighter tomorrow. "Once we are aware of our stories and how they define us, only then can we can release them to create a powerful vision for our lives," she explained.

McNelis believes no one should wait for permission to evolve. Instead, through Women For One, women reach out, lift others up, and make the world better through action and interaction.

Women For One is a global community of women who are ready and willing to make life happen. It connects women so that they can share their stories and inspire action that will transform the way they live, love, and learn. Each person is a pioneer of her own growth and experiences. It takes courage, love, and action to evolve throughout life. Women For One wants to hear from women worldwide about their journeys and life lessons learned.

About Kelly McNelis

Seattle native Kelly McNelis is an entrepreneur, speaker, leader, and author of soon-to-be released book, “The Messy Truth: Seven Tools for the Empowered Woman.” She rolled out national business startups for 15 years, consulted with non-profits on strategy and training, and has owned her own company. She is a Reiki master, a healer, and a minister, and spent a year living in an ashram. “I drink too much sometimes. I yell at my kids (I really try to minimize this one!). Sometimes I don’t wear a bra. I am messy, I’m genuine, and I’m perfectly imperfect,” she says.

After divorce a decade ago, McNelis rid her life of anything material and relational that felt fake in her life. She began attending lectures and retreats, and aligned herself with some of the most influential teachers and spiritualists of our time, not because she wanted to make a name for herself, but because of her continued desire to seek authenticity and true connection with others in ways that could mutually empower and inspire.

Kelly has been featured on The Dr. Julie Show: All Things Considered; Authenticity Radio; Chat with Women; Conscious Talk Radio; The Marie Manuchehri Show; Million Mamas Rising; The Nancy Ferrari Show; Cutting Edge Consciousness Radio; Enwaken Radio; Speak Up! Radio Show; and How She Really Does It, among others.

Kelly McNelis lives in Seattle, Washington with her husband and children and finds daily inspiration in life as it unfolds around her.
