The IRA Institute offers an advanced self-directed IRA class which is the only one of its kind in the self-directed retirement industry. It focuses on learning about alternative assets in IRA accounts such as precious metals, real estate, LLCs, promissory notes, and private stock.

The Retirement Industry Trust Association (RITA) will host the next self-directed IRA certification program in Newark, NJ on September 2-4th, 2015. IRA Financial professionals are encouraged to attend this seminar to catch up on the latest issues and rules on self-directed IRAs.

The IRA Institute is an advanced self-directed IRA class which is the only one of its kind in the self-directed retirement industry. It focuses on learning about alternative assets in IRA accounts such as precious metals, real estate, LLCs, promissory notes, and private stock, Unrelated Business Income Tax (UBTI), regulatory examinations, required disclosures, Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-money Laundering requirements, industry best practices, and includes tips on fighting fraud in the IRA workplace.

This class is two (2) full days of hands on training including group interaction and problem solving. The faculty of the IRA Institute include industry professionals with practical experience, ERISA attorneys, and recognized national experts. The qualifying exam consists of 75 multiple choice questions and is given on the third day following the previous two days of class.
