Meridian Bolsters Sales Team with Key Additions

Amidst growth, self-service provider has added to its sales force to answer demand.

When business is moving in a positive direction in the ever-changing world of technology, a company can’t be passive; adding experienced guys like Bill and Bryan will help us accelerate growth moving forward.

Meridian announced today the addition of Bryan Jorett and Bill Stamm to its sales team. The hirings were a response to growth in demand for Meridian’s self-service solutions and build on the momentum across a range of industries, according to Meridian President Buck Warren. “When business is moving in a positive direction in the ever-changing world of technology, a company can’t be passive; adding experienced guys like Bill and Bryan will help us accelerate growth moving forward.”

Jorett comes to Meridian with over 25 years of experience in information technology software and hardware sales. Stamm joins the Meridian team after 20-plus years of sales experience in the self-service space, primarily selling into kiosk integrators like Meridian.

“After selling to Meridian for so long, it is fascinating to be on the other side,” said Stamm. “When the opportunity to join Meridian came along, I knew it would be a great fit.”

Stamm most recently served as Territory Account Manager, USA East & Canada for Custom America, Inc. Prior to that he worked with Alinabal Inc. and its subsidiaries Practical Automation and Daco Instruments. “Bill has been building relationships in the self-service space for over a decade,” said Warren. “There is no substitute for that kind of network.”

Jorett served as Business Development Manager for Source Technologies before moving to Slabb Corp as a sales representative. Jorett also served as an account manager for PSC (now Datalogic) during the advent and explosion of self-service checkout. “Self-service is something I understand very well,” said Jorett. “I love how technology is changing our day-to-day lives. Meridian gets this and is innovating every day. That makes selling a lot easier.”

“Bryan is meticulous and thorough,” said Warren. “He has an excellent grasp on what it takes to sell complex solutions; we need that kind of detail-oriented approach at Meridian.”

Stamm and Jorett both hail from the Northeastern United States – Jorett from Philadelphia and Stamm from Killingworth, Conn. “It’s great to have seasoned and experienced sales staff who are also passionate about technology,” said Meridian CEO Chris Gilder. “We have a great collection of talented people who are committed to creating great solutions and second-to-none customer experiences.”
