Mullin/Ashley Associates, a Mid-Atlantic branding, communications, PR and marketing research firm, has been recognized in the 2015 Aster Awards national competition for a marketing communications campaign created for Atlantic General Hospital, a regional healthcare organization serving Ocean City and surrounding communities in Coastal Maryland and Southern Delaware.
A Bronze Award was won for the Centers of Care … that Care marketing communications campaign publicizing the high quality of medical care provided by ten AGH “centers of care” covering health specialties such as orthopedics, oncology, bariatric medicine, women’s health and others.
The “Centers of Care … that Care” theme and messaging were augmented by advertising featuring individual health specialties. Actual hospital patients and their inspiring stories were featured, personalizing the message and underscoring the ability for patients to receive specialized treatment without having to travel far from home.
Promotional vehicles for the campaign included outdoor billboard advertising, online advertising, print ads in local newspapers and lifestyle magazine, plus dedicated web pages. MarComm tactics newly added to the campaign since the competition judging include TV and radio advertising.
The Aster Awards, conducted under the auspices of Marketing Healthcare Today Magazine, is a major national competition recognizing excellence in medical marketing communications. Each entry is judged on criteria including creativity, layout and production quality, as well as on overall message effectiveness and consumer appeal.
The Aster Awards program has been established for nearly 25 years. This is the eighth year that Mullin/Ashley Associates has entered the competition and won.
