Seniors Guide Magazine Celebrates Its First Year in Columbus With A Special Anniversary Issue
Columbus, Ohio (PRWEB) August 31, 2015 -- A year ago this month, Seniors Guide first hit stands in the Columbus, Ohio, area. Now, the team is preparing to release a new issue commemorating the successful first year.
“We started the magazine with the goal of giving local seniors the information they need for a potentially difficult time in their lives,” says Melissa Wolfert, founding Publisher for Seniors Guide Columbus. “Making the decision to move into independent living, assisted living or other retirement housing can be stressful if you aren’t equipped with the tools to find the right place. We set out to give seniors those tools and make the process of taking the next step as easy as it should be.”
That mission continues as Seniors Guide Columbus turns 2. In addition to Columbus, the new issue features helpful information about communities in Powell, Pickerington, Delaware, Dublin, Marengo, Hilliard, Cambridge, Blacklick, Sunbury, Westerville, Centerbury, Pleasantville, Marysville, Grove City, Newark, Granville, Mt. Vernon, Gahanna, New Albany, Somerset, Thornville, Reynoldsburg, Canal Winchester and Lancaster.
And like previous issues, there are also informative articles to help seniors stay safe and happy in retirement. This time around, pieces entitled “Preparing Your Emergency Legal Documents” and “5 Thing to Make Your Bathroom Safer” offer up useful advice.
“Columbus was already a fantastic place to retire,” says Mary Malone, Associate Publisher. “We’re just here to simplify the process and show people that moving to retirement housing can be fun and exciting. This new issue is just another sample of what we have to offer, and there’s plenty more to come!”
