Dewitt Systems Releases a Portable / Economical Method for 1-Meter High Resolution XRF Core Scanning
North Augusta, SC (PRWEB) September 01, 2015 -- DeWitt Systems Incorporated has announced the release of the new MCS-1000E 1-Meter Mobile XRF Core Scanning System (Patent Pending), a benchtop-mounted platform allowing for accurate positioning and XRF analysis of core samples.
The system features software drivers for the BRUKER TRACER line of pXRF hardware, as well as planned migration to new BRUKER XRF hardware as it becomes available. The unified application interface provides display of raw XRF spectra, calculated concentrations by element / calibrations, and HD images collected at core sample locations.
The MCS-1000E includes a Helium cover gas management system that is uniquely designed to keep contamination from entering the instrument during the delivery of Helium for dry environment sample analysis (highest sensitivity for elements from Na to U).
