“Hello Sunny,” Starmark’s branding campaign for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau (GFLCVB), has won the U.S Travel Association’s “Destiny Award” for Branding and Integrated Marketing Campaign.

The brand-defining campaign was originally created by Starmark to enhance Greater Fort Lauderdale’s refreshed positioning domestically and internationally. In the three years since its launch, the brand campaign has received numerous awards and achieved unprecedented success. The Destiny Award recognizes excellence and creative accomplishment in destination marketing.

The GFLCVB and Starmark also had another strong showing at the Visit Florida Governor’s Conference on Tourism, capturing a total of seven awards including “Best of Show” for the “Love is Love” LGBT campaign. Since Fort Lauderdale is one of the premier wedding locations in the nation, an initiative was developed to commemorate the Florida Supreme Court’s marriage equality ruling, inviting 100 couples of all loves to exchange vows on the beach in February.

GFLCVB partners with Starmark for brand marketing and advertising. Together, the organizations have won the highest honor, “Best of Show,” from the Florida Governor’s Conference on Tourism three out of the last four years.
