Luckie & Co Makes Two Board Appointments

Combined, these four individuals will support the leadership team and board of directors as we navigate our exciting future.

Luckie & Company today announced the addition of two new members, Hagan Major and Jay Waters, to its board of advisors.

Major, a Birmingham native, is co-founder and president of YellowHammer, a New York-based digital advertising technology company. Within its first six years of business, YellowHammer placed No. 38 on the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing private companies. It has also been named to Forbes’ list of “America’s Most Promising Companies” and was the winner of the American Business Awards “Management Team of the Year.”

Jay Waters has been with Luckie for 25 years in various capacities, including chief strategy officer and executive committee member. He also is a winner of the Robert E. Luckie Excellence Award. In addition to his role as board advisor, Waters will be teaching four advertising courses at the University of Alabama this fall and assisting the agency on future projects.
