New York, NY (PRWEB) October 08, 2015
Linoto, an American made designer and manufacturer of artisan linen sheets and home goods, has been selected as a finalist in the Martha Stewart American Made Design awards for 2015.
Linoto founder, Jason Evege said, “We are thrilled to be selected as a finalist in the Martha Stewart American Made program for 2015. Beyond creating quality, design-forward linen sheets and textiles, Linoto has been deliberate in producing and providing everything our company markets as exclusively American made goods. Having the Martha Stewart organization recognize our designs and quality standards is the utmost of endorsements.”
Winners will be announced October 23rd and will receive a $10,000 award to further the company development. Past finalists and winners have come from all 50 states and American territories.
Linoto was founded in 2007 as an American made alternative to expensive, highly prized imported linen sheets from Europe. From their New York design and manufacturing facility Linoto cuts, sews, washes, packs, and ships their real linen sheets, towels, napkins, tablecloths, and napkins to customers worldwide. Evege says, "Each week we hear from customers who place tremendous value on the fact that our products are made in the USA." We have to compete against major retailers who almost invariably manufacture overseas.
Linoto is unique in that it offers bold colors, exceptional workmanship, and that all products are proudly made in their New York workshop in Yonkers, NY. The shop operates more like tailor's shop than a manufacturing facility. The Linoto team is passionate and invested. Every item is created by extremely skilled and dedicated technicians using old-world tailoring methods — the cloth is marked with chalk, cut with tailor shears, expertly measured and sewn to the same standards as a designer dress, then washed with natural laundry soap and shipped in plastic-free recycled packaging.
