University Business Magazine and Higher One Honor Seventeen Colleges and Universities as “Models of Excellence”

University Business magazine and Higher One, Inc. are honoring 17 colleges and universities in the Winter 2015 round of the “Models of Excellence” program. Sponsored by Higher One, a leading provider of financial services to college and university campuses across the U.S., the Models of Excellence program recognizes innovative approaches to encouraging and nurturing student success on campus.

University Business magazine and Higher One, Inc. are honoring 17 colleges and universities in the Winter 2015 round of the “Models of Excellence” program. Sponsored by Higher One, a leading provider of financial services to college and university campuses across the U.S., the Models of Excellence program recognizes innovative approaches to encouraging and nurturing student success on campus. It was launched in spring 2015.

“The Winter 2015 Models of Excellence honorees demonstrate how to improve the college business model by putting their students’ needs first,” says JD Solomon, editorial director of University Business. “We’re pleased to celebrate their achievements.”

The Winter 2015 honorees are: Endicott College (Beverly, Mass.), Florida State University (Tallahassee, Fla.); State Fair Community College (Sedalia, Mo.); Miami Dade College (Miami, Fla.); University of San Diego (San Diego, Calif.); Southeast Technical Institute (Sioux Falls, S.D.); Governors State University (University Park, Ill.); UNC Charlotte (Charlotte, N.C.); Kent State University (Kent, Ohio); Georgian Court University (Lakewood, N.J.); Northern Arizona University (Flagstaff, Ariz.); NorthWest Arkansas Community College (Bentonville, Ark.); St. Petersburg College (St. Petersburg, Fla.); Syracuse University (Syracuse, N.Y.); University of Massachusetts Lowell (Lowell, Mass.); University of Minnesota Twin Cities (Minneapolis, Minn.); and Excelsior College (Albany N.Y.).
