Itopia, a leader in cloud computing and Workspace-as-a-Service (WaaS), today announced the appointment of Scott Markley as Senior Vice President of Sales. Markley brings significant sales management expertise in the enterprise SaaS and cloud IT industries. Markley joins the itopia executive leadership team and will be responsible for driving partner recruitment and community enablement teams. Markley will also manage strategic accounts and seek out synergistic opportunities to grow partner value across an evolving technology landscape and to expand itopia’s breadth and reach.

Previously, Markley served as Senior Vice President of Sales at Independence IT, an integrated workspace automation software platform provider, where he helped pivot the company from direct sales to a channel leader in the WaaS market. He was also instrumental in developing the firm’s go-to-market strategy where he successfully grew the channel partner program both nationally and internationally.
