Bioscience Americas Rounds Out Executive Team

Jack Trama joins the international medical center development firm Bioscience Americas as Executive Vice President and Advisory Board Member. He will help lead the company as it enters its next phase of growth.

Bioscience Americas, LLC, a leading international developer of for-profit autologous stem cell wellness centers, is pleased to announce the addition of Jack Trama to its executive team.

In announcing Mr. Trama’s selection as Executive Vice President of the company, Bioscience Americas CEO Eric Stoffers noted that Mr. Trama brings many years of top level business and executive experience to the medical center development firm. “Jack has successfully tackled a broad range of responsibilities throughout his career including venture capital, mergers & acquisitions, and technology. He is a dedicated, focused and visionary business entrepreneur with advanced skills in sales, marketing and relationship management. We’re delighted he has come on-board.” Mr. Stoffers also noted that as part of his responsibilities Mr. Trama will be a member of and will coordinate the activities of the company’s Advisory Board.

In accepting the position, Mr. Trama said that he is pleased to be an integral part of the company’s business initiatives. “Bioscience Americas is a global leader in bringing life saving science innovations out of the lab and into the marketplace. Bioscience Americas is the international development partner of the Global Institute of Stem Cell Therapy and Research. Based in San Diego, California at the University of California Medical Center, the Global Institute is a worldwide consortium of stem cell scientists and biotechnology researchers. They have been the beneficiary of more than $400 million in stem cell research grants, endowment contributions, and legislative appropriations.

Jack Trama, a native of Long Island, New York, received his business education at Pace University and Hofstra University in New York. He formerly served as a Principal with Trade Risk Strategies in New York and was instrumental in securing approval for $30 million in venture capital for various commercial projects.

As noted above, Mr. Trama will serve on the company’s Advisory Board along with Dr. Leslie Miller and Mr. Steve Miller. Dr. Miller is an internationally renowned cardiologist and expert in the field of heart failure and transplantation. He has served as an investigator in more than one hundred clinical trials. He has focused his research on the use of stem cells derived from bone marrow and fat tissue to treat heart disease. Mr. Miller is the CEO of Business Development Ventures, LLC, a firm specializing in working with companies in the implementation of their strategic growth initiatives.
