New cutting edge MiFID II conference to provide comprehensive and strategic training that includes the latest MiFID II regulatory, risk and compliance updates for financial industry

Storm-7 Consulting have introduced a new two day comprehensive training programme covering the latest MiFID II regulatory, risk and implementation issues. This new dynamic financial conference will comprehensively guide delegates through the updated MiFID II operational framework, and will also provide a crucial in-depth strategic analysis of the latest technical standards from the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). The conference will be taking place at the 5* Mondrian Hotel in London in February 2016.

The conference programme will be delivered by four leading compliance experts who cover key areas within the financial industry. They are Simon Bird, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Objectivus Financial Consulting, Magnus Almqvist, a surveillance and compliance domain expert for EMEA from SunGard, Sol Steinberg, an expert consultant specialising in OTC derivatives markets and Founding Partner of OTC Partners, and Rodrigo Zepeda, the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Storm-7 Consulting. Each expert trainer will provide delegates with their unique specialist insight across particular MiFID II sectors, including Market Structure and Trade Reporting, Organisational Compliance, Reporting Framework and Obligations, Algorithmic Trading and Dark Pools, and the Use of Technology within MiFID Compliance programs.

Rodrigo Zepeda, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Storm-7 Consulting comments: "MiFID II represents a new and complex era in the EU’s regulation of financial markets, and market participants need to ensure that they comprehensively understand the significant impact of new exemptions, position limits, OTFs, MTFs, third country regimes, investor protection, equity instruments, and dark trading cap requirements. This conference programme aims to comprehensively instruct delegates in all these areas." Delegates can expect to come away from the conference with advanced knowledge of the latest MiFID II regulation, compliance and risk management issues, key insights into the latest draft Level 2 texts published by ESMA, and an unparalleled opportunity to discuss operational and strategic EU market developments with industry leaders.
