DonorPerfect Clients Processed an Incredible $14,906,357 on #GivingTuesday

The success of CyberMonday by online retailers was followed by a record day of giving to nonprofits on #GivingTuesday, a day of giving back during the holiday season.

DonorPerfect urged clients to embrace #GivingTuesday as the start of the "giving season".

#GivingTuesday is no longer a phenomenon – it's a proven fundraising opportunity that all nonprofits should plan for every year!

DonorPerfect Fundraising Software announced today that nonprofit organizations that use DonorPerfect to track donations on #GivingTuesday processed a record $14,906,357. Online donations accounted for $2.3 million of this impressive total. Online giving increased more than 2.7x from 2014. The average gift amount increased 29% to $174.83, and nearly 35% of donations were made on mobile devices.

#GivingTuesday is both a national day of giving and a social media phenomenon. On this hashtag holiday, communities rally around causes they care about by giving to their favorite nonprofit organizations and sharing their participation on social media.
