The Sturgis Buffalo Chip' Freedom Celebration will feature the reigning queen of country music, Miranda Lambert. Lambert is set to deliver a night of all-American anthems to top off the annual celebration on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016.

To top off the Sturgis Buffalo Chip®’s annual Freedom Celebration, reigning queen of country music Miranda Lambert is set to deliver a night of all-American anthems on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016. This day of patriotic events and tributes held during the Buffalo Chip’s 35th anniversary party will honor America’s military veterans and showcase those who have made great personal sacrifices in the line of duty to protect our freedom and country. Lambert is arguably the most successful female singer-songwriter in country music today, as six-time American Country Music Female Vocalist of the Year and the most awarded solo female in ACM history with 23 honors. Her most recent album, “Platinum,” also received the Grammy for “Best Country Album.” Lambert’s long list of memorable country rock hits captures American life through witty and fearless lyrics. From “Gunpowder & Lead,” “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” and “Hell on Heels” to her newest bad-girl duet with Carrie Underwood, “Somethin’ Bad,” Lambert has risen to become one of the most popular country musicians today. The Buffalo Chip is preparing to celebrate its 35th anniversary by dazzling fans with nine nights of top-name entertainers, having already announced a Kid Rock performance to take place on Sunday, Aug 7. The Chip’s annual motorcycle and music festival, absolutely the “Best Party Anywhere™,” kickstarts on Friday, July 29 and runs through Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016.
