US Storage Centers Expands Presence in Las Vegas

US Storage Centers announced today that it entered into an agreement with Wentworth Property Company, LLC to manage the self storage facility located at 6960 West Robindale Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89113.

US Storage Centers announced today that it entered into an agreement with Wentworth Property Company, LLC to manage the self storage facility located at 6960 West Robindale Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89113. The facility was acquired by Wentworth Property Company and is the company’s second in Las Vegas, and marks the fourth location in the city managed or owned by Westport Properties Inc., parent company of US Storage Centers.

"We're excited about managing this new location for Wentworth Property Company,” said Jason Lopez, US Storage Centers’ vice president of marketing. “We have a great relationship with them and this opportunity builds upon our previous success with them."

The 86,000 sf facility, which will be branded US Storage Centers, is located at the intersection of two major thoroughfares, and is in the heart of a relatively new and expanding residential area. Drive-up and indoor storage units are all available, in addition to security features such as electronic gated access, 24-hour video recording, and alarmed storage units.

“We are excited to add this location to our quickly growing self-storage portfolio. This is our second acquisition in the Las Vegas market and is an example of our ability to compete on the acquisition of institutional quality assets,” said Dave King, Wentworth Property Company vice president of self-storage. “We intend to purchase similar assets in other primary and secondary markets around the country as well as additional value-add sites, ground-up development sites, expansion opportunities and conversion opportunities.”
