The $180 million acute-care facility, slated to open in 2016, will replace the original Chinese Hospital with a 100,000-sq.ft hospital housing 54 acute beds and 22 skilled nursing beds.
Allen’s interactive patient engagement solutions, deployed on patient room televisions throughout the new hospital, will help educate, engage and empower patients in their healthcare. Chinese Hospital’s patients will be able to access information in both English and Mandarin Chinese about their health condition and care, an array of hospital services, and entertainment options through the user-friendly Allen portal. Allen’s solutions seamlessly integrate with hospital systems saving valuable staff time and enabling clinical staff to focus on patient care rather than routine room requests.
