Redwood Recovery Solutions to invest $9 million in brand development and ad spend in Q4.

Redwood Recovery Solutions, the parent company of the leading behavioral healthcare marketing site, TreatmentCalls.com, announced today that it plans to spend approximately $9 million dollars in Q4 to jump start its newly acquired 1-800 Addicts brand. The aim is to address the constantly increasing demand for addiction treatment by connecting millions of Americans suffering from addiction and their families to the right system of care for the treatment of their disease. The highest of quality, culture, and care standards are paramount to the partners, and 1-800 Addicts will connect patients and their families to as both the disease of addiction, and treatment itself, have become heavily stigmatized.

Redwood has deployed a team of strategic online and offline initiatives lead by Redwood's Chief Strategy Officer, Timothy Davis, in collaboration with Dreamscape Marketing, an award-winning Maryland-based digital marketing firm specializing in addiction treatment communication. The development plan includes a 1,200-page dynamic website filled with useful substance abuse and recovery related content from top industry professionals and one of the most extensive Google Adwords campaigns the industry has seen. "We’re excited to be part of this project," said Daniel Gemp, the CEO of Dreamscape. "Not only will this help the treatment industry in their goal to connect the right patient to the right program, but it will also reach tens of thousands of people—perhaps even hundreds of thousands of people—when they need it most." The site and phone number went live in early August.

The company is led by 27-year-old self-made millionaire, Jason Brian, who helped pave the way in the automotive and auto insurance marketplaces preceding the launch of Redwood late last year. In 2011, Forbes published "How to make a million dollars before you graduate," where Brian was compared to the likeness of Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Michael Dell, Steve Jobs, and Ted Turner, all successful entrepreneurs who made their fortunes with no college education. Jason Brian has proven to be no exception to this group, and grew his insurance and automotive empire to north of 450 employees in 3 countries before he successfully exited to a private equity firm at the age of 25. Having donated millions to charity and even earning the prestigious philanthropy title of "Man of the Year," helping those in need is right up his alley. To set his sights on addiction treatment as an industry outsider further illustrates the sheer amount of help needed to drive such demand for quality care nationwide.

"The plan is simple," says Brian. "Most people who are looking for substance abuse treatment will start their search online. From there, the most important thing is building trust." Peter Feldman, Redwood's in-house legal counsel, echoes that sentiment and adds, "In an industry where the stakes are so high and with so much negativity already surrounding marketing tactics, the only way for 1-800 Addicts to gain the trust it needs from both consumers and the industry, is to do things the right way."

Redwood reached into the industry for an inside look earlier this year and thanks to the hire of former Unity Recovery Group CEO James Hull, has doubled their business and their reach month over month since March. Hull's incredible success, tenure, and transparency to the industry’s inner workings gave Redwood insight on how to effectively cater to those seeking help and how treatment centers across the industry are able to walk them through all levels of care.

Redwood plans to offer centers that meet certain ethical and business practices the opportunity to participate in this new platform later this month as the 1-800 Addicts care network is expanded.
