“Programmatic buying has changed the way many companies carry out their recruitment marketing strategies, but it’s not the end state” says Clark. “It is a means to deliver against the real goal-providing great talent to an employer at an efficient cost."

Recruitics, a recruitment marketing analytics and automation platform for direct employers, staffing companies, and job boards, was recently featured in a new white paper titled “Programmatic Buying: A Game-Changer for Recruitment Advertising” published by LinkUp Job Search Engine.

Over the past several years, employers have increasingly moved towards performance-based advertising models such as cost-per-click (CPC) and cost-per-applicant (CPA) to attract job seekers to their open positions. Programmatic buying refers to the use of a platform to automate the purchasing of performance-based ads on job boards and job search engines. The technology is “rules-based” and automates the employer’s ad placement to target optimal candidates at the right time at the desired cost-per-acquisition.

To help explain the concept of programmatic buying within the recruitment space, LinkUp sought the input of Recruitics, the first company to introduce programmatic buying concepts to the recruitment industry.

“We are very excited that LinkUp enlisted Recruitics to be part of this very informative piece,” said Ken Clark, CEO, Recruitics. “This whitepaper is a tremendous resource to help employers understand the value of programmatic buying and its importance in their recruitment marketing strategy.”

LinkUp features a case study highlighting how Recruitics implemented their proprietary programmatic buying platform to help one of the country’s largest staffing providers increase their applicant lead flow by more than 400% in a 90-day period.

“Programmatic buying has drastically changed the way many companies will carry out their recruitment marketing strategies, but it’s not the end state” says Clark. “It is simply a means to deliver against the real goal—providing great talent to an employer at an efficient cost.”
