Five platforms earn Leader status while CallRail tops overall satisfaction rankings.

G2 Crowd, the world’s leading business software review platform, today released the Winter 2016 Call Tracking Software GridSM report to help businesses make the best technology decision. CallRail, Marchex, DialogTech, SalesLoft, and Invoca were named Leaders in the report, receiving strong customer satisfaction scores with a large market presence. Additionally, Call Box and CallTrackingMetrics were named High Performers, earning strong customer satisfaction marks with smaller market presence scores. CallRail earned the highest overall satisfaction score while Marchex earned the highest overall market presence score.

The GridSM leverages customer satisfaction data reported by authenticated users along with vendor market presence determined from social and public data. Based on a combination of these scores, each software solution is categorized as a Leader, High Performer, Contender, or Niche.

The Winter 2016 Call Tracking Grid℠ Report revealed these high level insights about the call tracking software market:

There Will Always Be Spam - Unfortunately for call tracking users, it is nearly impossible to avoid spam callers. Some solutions have implemented spam blockers, but as call tracking platforms adapt, so do the spammers. The most common complaint across all solutions was the encroachment of spam calls, which can be costly and a major setback to businesses.

It's a Small Business Game - Across all products on the Grid, 60 percent of reviewers came from small businesses (50 or fewer employees) and 33 percent came from mid-market companies (51-1000 employees). Call tracking solutions allow smaller businesses to cover more ground with their capabilities and features.

The Importance of Strong Customer Service - Quality of support was rated highly across the board with a 90 percent satisfaction average. The solutions receiving below-average scores were less likely to be recommended by users. Users were also less likely to believe those products to be headed in the right direction.
