Our readership has grown tremendously over the past few months and we could not have done it without the cooperation and partnerships of leaders and organizations in hospice and healthcare industry.

News and technology start-up, The Hospice Insider, will continue to focus on relationships and partnerships in 2016 to grow content, readership and functionality. Founder and Editor-In-Chief, Autumn Spence, accredits current relationships and hospice community to building their 2015 success. “Our readership has grown tremendously over the past few months and we could not have done it without the cooperation and partnerships of leaders and organizations in hospice and healthcare industry.” Spence continues, “I have been surprised by the number of journalists, photographers and authors that have reached out to us directly and want to contribute.”

The Hospice Insider launched in October of 2015 and is already the largest online resource for hospice and palliative care industry. As the site continues to grow, as does the content and resources for patients, families and caregivers. With the commitment to celebrate life in every stage, The Hospice Insider offers a “place to land” in your greatest time of need.

Spence who also serves on the National Hospice Foundation (NHF) Signature Events Council advocates on the local, national and worldwide stage for the hospice and healthcare community. In speaking about her role with the council Spence says, “It is working with the hospice community that has really shown me how to live fully. Therefore, it is my pleasure to contribute in any way to the annual gala, and my honor to serve with other council members who are also my mentors, colleagues and friends.” The NHF’s largest fundraising event is their annual Gala held each spring in Washington, DC. The event is designed and produced to celebrate and honor accomplishments made in healthcare.

Sarah Meltzer, Vice President of Philanthropy at NHF and Signature Events Council Chair states "This year we return to the simplest yet most profound moments of hospice. This black tie evening will feature stories of hope. Of love. Of joy. Of living life to it’s fullest. Throughout 2016 The Hospice Insider continues to promise added functionality and content. Partnerships with local, national and global organizations will ensure a vast array of content covering numerous subjects. Relationships with patients, families, healthcare workers and industry leaders will provide different perspectives on end-of-life issues from around the globe.
