Integra Introduces New Proprietary Project Management Software
St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) January 29, 2016 -- An innovative and intuitive project management software designed specifically for the telecommunications industry debuted this month as Integra Advanced Technology Services (http://www.integra-ats.com) commenced a major industry decommissioning project using the new tool.
Integra designed the software, called the Integra Business Intelligence System (IBIS), to tie together all segments of telecommunications work from installation and upgrades, to repair, maintenance, decommissioning and recycling and provides complete equipment life cycle management.
“We developed this Project Management system to be a game changer,” states Robert Steward, Integra’s President/ CEO. “We have succeeded. The mobile device’s real time access with maps, documents and dashboards has significantly enhanced our bottom line on each project. Our team’s input has given our field services a tool that is simple and inexpensive.”
The company designed and developed the software over 18 months using in-house programming expertise, outside industry consultants and knowledge gained from managing small and large-scale installation, decommissioning and recycling projects throughout the country over the past three years. Those earlier experiences revealed the deficiencies of using generic construction management software and processes for telecommunications projects. Consequently, Integra embarked on an ambitious mission to build IBIS to accommodate the unique scheduling, reporting, verification and productivity-related issues associated with the industry, Steward said.
IBIS provides 24-7 access on a secure, cloud-based platform available anywhere in the world. It delivers comprehensive tracking, scheduling and reporting capabilities and allows Integra to give its clients a unique service that has been long overdue in the industry.
IBIS features on-site crew check in/check out; geolocation documentation; asset tracking and chain of custody; photo uploads directly from the site for immediate viewing by project managers; and a document library for statements of work, site drawings, job safety forms and all other pertinent records.
While Integra currently uses IBIS for its own project management projects, future company plans call for a software version that can be leased to subscribers, Steward said.
