“While awareness of #GivingTuesday is high among donors, our clients raised more on December 28 than #GivingTuesday. End-of-year giving is still very relevant,” said Fred Weiss, president and CEO of iModules.
Leawood, KS (PRWEB) February 05, 2016
Clients of iModules generated more than $311 million in gifts, memberships, and event registrations, sent more than one billion emails, and had an average email open rate of 22.3% using Encompass, the company’s platform for online alumni engagement, in the 2015 calendar year. The company’s clients include 52% of the top 400 higher education fundraisers in the United States. Platform usage continued to grow in 2015, with clients also collecting more than three million event registrations through Encompass.
“Strong higher education institutions add significantly to the growth and culture of our country. Our clients are advancing their institutions though online constituent engagement and fundraising and we are privileged to help them achieve their missions,” said Fred Weiss, president and CEO of iModules.
An Important Month
“The last three months of the year are pivotal for fundraisers; more than 50% of the funds raised through Encompass in 2015 came during that timeframe. There are a multitude of organizations people can give to, so our clients are truly competing for end-of-year donations,” said Weiss.
In the final four days of December, iModules clients sent more than five million emails daily, collecting more than $39 million in charitable gifts. On the last day of the year, iModules clients raised more than $18 million in donations to educational institutions in the United States. In comparison, iModules clients raised $5.2 million on #GivingTuesday, December 1.
“While awareness of #GivingTuesday is high among donors, our clients raised more on December 28 than #GivingTuesday. End-of-year giving is still very relevant,” said Weiss.
