“Most CISOs aren't aware of existing sensitive data and user activity across legacy systems and applications that reside in their mainframes, and the fact that they are exposed.

CorreLog, the leader in multi-platform IT security event log management, in conjunction with Xbridge Systems, DLP experts for z/OS, today announced the unveiling of their comprehensive DLP and real-time event auditing solution for z/OS mainframe security and compliance at SHARE San Antonio, February 28-March 4. CorreLog and Xbridge's technology partnership and resulting solution offers the industry's first and only DLP and real-time Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system for IBM z/OS.

CorreLog SIEM Agent for z/OS is a mainframe security and compliance software that intercepts RACF, AFC2, Top Secret, and DB2 logs for suspicious dataset accesses and converts them to syslog format for real-time event correlation in CorreLog's SIEM, or any other enterprise SIEM solution. For users without access to a SIEM license, CorreLog offers Visualizer™, a SIEM console with correlation & alerting functionality that is accessed through a secured web browser. The combined solution provides the industry's only automated discovery tool for DLP coupled with SIEM event correlation capability for IBM z/OS.

“This is what the industry has been asking and waiting for, and we're excited to unveil it at SHARE San Antonio this year” said George Faucher, president and CEO of CorreLog, Inc. “Most CISOs aren't aware of existing sensitive data and user activity across legacy systems and applications that reside in their mainframes, and the fact that they are exposed. They want to be assured of their IT security and compliance.”

Xbridge's Data Loss Prevention technology, DataSniff, is an automated mainframe data discovery system used to locate sensitive data as a prerequisite to data classification, database auditing, compliance, data security and/or Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives. Both DataSniff and CorreLog’s SIEM Agent for z/OS are critical components of compliance initiatives addressing PCI DSS, HIPAA/HITECH, Sarbanes-Oxley, IRS Pub. 1075, GLBA and other data security standards. CorreLog’s Visualizer™ is the user interface layer that funnels the components of these two systems into a standard, simplified web browser. The joint solution is seamlessly integrated across a single Xbridge and CorreLog platform. The SIEM Agent for z/OS is certified for IBM QRadar SIEM, HP ArcSight SIEM, RSA Security Analytics (EMC), and also has field integrations with all brand-name SIEM solutions.

“The integration of CorreLog’s SIEM Agent and Visualizer solutions unified with DataSniff Data Discovery solution, featuring Security Analyzer, creates a new, fully integrated and automated Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) software solution for IBM z/OS systems,” said Ray Williams, Chairman, CEO and Co-Founder of Xbridge Systems, Inc. “We are very excited to be partnering with CorreLog to create the first Discovery and Monitoring solution for these critical systems.”
