Predixion Software, a developer of cloud- and edge-based advanced analytics software for the Internet of Things (IoT), today announced it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the Visionaries quadrant of the 2016 Magic Quadrant for Advanced Analytics Platforms.

When examining the potential impact of advanced analytics, Gartner predicts that “by 2018, more than half of large organizations globally will compete using advanced analytics and proprietary algorithms, causing the disruption of entire industries.” In addition, Gartner believes that “by 2020, predictive and prescriptive analytics will attract 40% of enterprises' net new investment in business intelligence and analytics.”
