Harrigan Development Partner, LLC is building a 670-acre master-planned community, Rosehill Reserve, around a multi-million facility formerly known as DeShazer Arabian Horse Farm.

For a number of years the farm was used to breed rare Arabian horses. After deciding to sell the property, the DeShazers held a successful horse auction in Saudi Arabia and have moved the remaining horses to their original farm.

The developers will transform the DeShazers’ former horse farm, a 17,000 square-foot facility with a horse track and barn, into a one-of-a-kind clubhouse and recreation center for residents. The space, recently named The Reserve, features spiraling staircases, a majestic ballroom, a sprawling kitchen and lush landscaping.

“We had to make the decision between tearing down the facility or building around it,” says Brian McGown, Developer at Harrigan Development Partner, LLC. “After we saw how stunning the space was, we all agreed it would make for a spectacular community center.”

The developers plan to use The Reserve as a place to bring the community together and as a venue for special events. This March Rosehill Reserve will be inviting local artists out to the community to participate in a “Capture the Landscape” prize contest.

Homes will be ready for preview May 2015.
