Harris Moure’s Barcelona office will focus on helping American companies and individuals navigate Europe and assisting European companies and individuals navigate the United States and China

Harris Moure announced today that it has opened a new office in Barcelona, Spain. Nadja Vietz, an attorney licensed in Germany, Spain and the U.S., will head up that office. Harris Moure’s Barcelona office will focus on helping American companies and individuals navigate Europe and assisting European companies and individuals navigate the United States and China.

Vietz joined Harris Moure’s Seattle office in 2004 after years of private practice in Barcelona assisting U.S., German and French companies with their Spain legal matters. While in Seattle at Harris Moure, Vietz worked mostly with European companies on their U.S. legal matters and with American companies on their European matters.

Vietz returned to Barcelona in 2011 and she will continue to split her time between Spain, Germany and the United States.

Harris Moure’s Barcelona office (sometimes in tandem with other Harris Moure offices) will handle United States and European Business, Corporate, Commercial, Contract, Real Estate, Inheritance and Litigation matters. Together with Harris Moure’s China legal team, it will also coordinate China legal work for European companies. Harris Moure is the law firm behind the multiple award-winning China Law Blog.

Vietz holds a Juris Doctorate from University Alma Mater Lipsiensis Law School in Leipzig, Germany and a Diplome d’Études Universitaire Générales in French Law, International Public Law and European Law from the Faculté des Affaires Internationales, in Le Havre, France. Ms. Vietz. She is also a former President of the Junior Entrepreneur Association of Barcelona and a former Secretary of the International Practice Section of the Washington State Bar Association.
