According to Network Computing, the Network Computing Annual Awards were established in 2007 to recognize solutions and companies that have been most impactful in terms of helping organizations function better by getting the most out of their networks. Each year, finalists are determined by online nominations made in the months of December and January; then a second round of online voting amongst the finalists occurs in February and early March to determine the ultimate winners. "Readers of Network Computing in the UK accounted for around 80 percent of the votes" said David Bonner, Event Manager.
Netreo’s OmniCenter was nominated for two separate award categories for this year’s 2016 Network Computing Annual Awards – “Testing/Monitoring Product of the Year” and “Bench-Tested Product of the Year”. When the black-tie awards ceremony was held last week on March 17 at the Hotel Russell in London to announce the winners, Netreo CEO Kevin Kinsey travelled all the way from California to attend in person. Ultimately, it is fortunate that he did since Netreo won for “Testing/Monitoring Product of the Year” for 2016 and Mr. Kinsey was on-hand to accept the coveted award.
When asked about winning, Kinsey said: “Netreo has always prided itself on delivering the best possible user experience for all of our products, and the feedback from our customers tells us they’re happy with our efforts. I am extremely honored that OmniCenter was the winner in the Test/Monitoring category for 2016.”
