At the forefront of skin cancer detection and awareness, Advanced Dermatology is hosting its 6th annual benefit, Skin for Life, for The Skin Cancer Foundation in Lincolnshire on May 4th. The benefit includes a short video of patients’ skin cancer stories, a fashion show, silent auction, boutique shopping as well as medical and cosmetic skincare demonstrations.
The event’s media sponsor is SPLASH and the show will be hosted by a dynamic Chicago media duo: Susanna Homan, Editor-In-Chief and Publisher of Chicago Magazine, and Melissa McGurren, co-host and traffic reporter of 101.9FM The Mix. The fashion show’s sponsor, Coolibar, the sun protective clothing line founded in 2001, will open the show, followed by local Chicago fashion designers: edgy swimwear and apparel, Rosina Mae, chemical and toxic free line, Wear in Good Health, and the architectural and luxurious designs of Nelissa Carrillo Design.
