Shared Mission, a Native American Owned Management Consulting Company which focuses on the health care needs of American Indians, has launched its new website at http://www.SharedMission.com according to Shared Mission CEO Ian Erlich.

“At Shared Mission our goal is to provide the highest quality healthcare services for tribal members to improve cost effective healthcare outcomes,” says Erlich. “I am excited to launch our new website that introduces both our team, and our services at Shared Mission, that can provide innovative and cost effective healthcare services to tribal communities.”

Erlich, who is Iñupiaq and a member of the Native Village of Kotzebue, Alaska, has many years of leadership in empowering tribes. He served as a councilman at the Native Village of Kotzebue and was chairman on the Statewide Alaska Inter-Tribal Council for six years. He also served as President/CEO of Maniilaq Association for five years. The Maniilaq Association is a tribal non-profit serving the healthcare needs of residents in the Maniilaq Service Area; an area larger than 17 States.

Erlich says because of his past experiences, he recognizes the chronic underfunding facing tribal health care. He says Shared Mission understands the need to provide innovative tools to improve healthcare processes and services that work within the means of tribal communities.

“Tribal health experts know all too well the struggle to provide high quality healthcare, when funded at 55% of need,” says Erlich. “Shared Mission looks to innovation to provide increased value and effectiveness. Shared Mission can improve quality healthcare and increase third party revenue to better match the true needs of operations.”

Erlich says Shared Mission provides emergency department, outpatient clinic and inpatient medical management, and staffing at a lower cost with better healthcare outcomes than generic locum staffing agencies. He says the Shared Mission team has decades of experience managing and redesigning top tier emergency departments, inpatient units and outpatient clinics by focusing on LEAN techniques.

“It is our mission to increase the overall patient experience by decreasing throughput times, ‘left without being seen’ metrics, and improving the quality of care,” says Erlich. “At Shared Mission we understand the absolute necessity of providing a positive experience to tribal members through consistent and efficient quality care. Our experienced team has helped our tribal partners stop the ‘revolving door’ of itinerant medical providers working in their healthcare facilities.”
