Mobile Event App Provider Simplifies Face-to-Face Connections at Live Events, Unifying Meeting Scheduling Within a Single Event App Experience

DoubleDutch, the global leading provider of mobile event apps and event performance analytics, today announced enhancements to its platform with DoubleDutch Meetings, providing seamless meeting scheduling capabilities for attendees. By leveraging fully unified meeting scheduling within a single event app experience, attendees are able to increase face-to-face interactions at live events and deepen engagement.

Today, processes for scheduling face-to-face meetings at events are not fully unified with the event experience. DoubleDutch is addressing this challenge in three new ways:

  • Meeting Requests: Attendees can easily search for and identify other attendees by company name, title or other profile information and invite them to meet face-to-face with a click of a button.
  • Smart Scheduling: A list of mutually available times is automatically suggested for the requester to choose from based on the agenda availability of both the requester and recipient, eliminating the headache of trying to schedule a meeting during a mutually agreeable time.
  • Reminders: Attendees will receive reminders ahead of the meeting, ensuring that meetings are not forgotten and thereby increasing meeting attendance rates.

DoubleDutch continues to empower event organizers, exhibitors, and attendees to identify and connect with the right people. Following the release of direct messaging, topic channels, and session channels as part of a comprehensive private social network, this release is the latest innovation to close the gap in moving digital interactions to in-person discussions that deepen event engagement.
