Greenberg Traurig is a sponsor of the forum, which will explore opportunities and challenges faced by film and television investors—including those from Wall Street, Silicon Valley, China, and the Middle East. Sherman will be moderating the panel, “Pro-Investor Models in a Changed Economy,” which will focus on a continuing paradigm shift in the film industry that is significantly altering deal structures and the pro-investor model.

Sherman, an Entertainment & Media shareholder in the firm’s Los Angeles office, focuses his practice on complex transactions in the media and entertainment industries, including domestic and cross-border financings, co-production arrangements, sales and acquisitions of film, television, and music companies and catalogs, as well as joint ventures and other strategic transactions for his clients in the entertainment and media industries. His clients include banks, private equity and debt funds, institutional investors, as well as major film and television production and distribution companies, record companies, and music publishers. Sherman is also experienced representing lenders and other financiers in domestic and cross-border workouts and financial restructurings, including transactions in Europe and Latin America.
