We at Atrium Hospitality are incredibly excited and proud that Tricia has won this honor. Her proactive approach and deployment of key strategies helped her to achieve successful results in RevPAR, RPI, shoulder night occupancy, sellout efficiency, peak night ADR, and Premium Room sales. She is viewed as a leader and a mentor among her superiors and peers, as well as the associates she supports at the property level, embracing all tools made available to her in order to increase her knowledge, and that of her colleagues, and to maximize her performance.

Tricia’s reputation in the Revenue Management world for getting things done has earned her the moniker “Action Jackson.” It is said the name has become so widespread that some only know her as such. Tricia is unyielding in her efforts to achieve results, but it is also quite clear to everyone with whom she interacts how much she truly loves her work; and little speaks to that more than her “theme songs.” Tricia sings rousing renditions of “Life Is a Highway,” “Money, Money, Money,” “Moving On Up,” and “We Are the Champions” during her Weekly Strategy calls, making it difficult not to get swept up in her energy and excitement.

Tricia was pivotal in the development and adoption of GRO. As part of the pilot program, she worked closely with the implementation and support teams, becoming an expert in the system in an effort to bring guidance and best practices to her counterparts. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and she became the go-to person for those undergoing the installation process. It is also important to note that Tricia not only had a positive impact on the Embassy Suites North Charleston and was instrumental in the feedback loop for GRO, but the other two hotels she oversees saw gains in 2015 as well.

The Hilton Worldwide Full Service Revenue Management and Embassy Suites Brand teams were impressed with Tricia’s positive attitude and willingness to work with them during the GRO rollout, which only furthered their belief that she was the right person to be singled out. Many team members offered testimonials to Tricia’s performance and character, but they felt that no quote better described her than, “You can count on Tricia to say what she means and then do what she says. Tricia will be highlighted on the Lobby, as well as in the Revenue Management Hall of Fame; and she will receive a vacation for two to any Embassy Suites by Hilton property, including airfare, hotel accommodations for up to five nights, and $1,250 spending money.
