There has been a lot of misinformation spread about the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. Very few people know what he truly stood for as a leader and man of faith, as a husband and businessman – and as a man of peace. To clear up these misconceptions, Who is Muhammad (P) 2016 reading contest involves reading a biography about the Prophet’s life and then taking an internet test about the book. Already, over 9000 readers have registered for the contest – more than register for the New York Times’ and Scholastic’s annual reading contests. From among these readers, the top 99 test scores will win one of three incredible prizes – 33 Umrah trips (to the holy cities of Mecca and Medina), 33 mini iPads, or 33 Amazon $100 gift cards.
Though only 99 readers will win prizes, as Path of the Prophet President Aras Konjhodzic says, “Everyone wins in this contest. Every participant will gain new insight into the exemplary life of the Prophet Muhammad, and have a better understanding of the noble example he set for all Muslims.
