EleVia Software, a Central Consulting Group company that specializes in add-on products for Deltek Vision® ERP system, recently released version 3.0 of its EleVia Payables Approval & Tracking (PAT) software.
The product makes it easier for architecture and engineering firms to track and approve subcontractor invoices and other payables. PAT 3.0 gives clients additional functionality to further streamline the payables process.
“As a controller, I appreciate the new ability to save searches,” said Stephen Dinn, controller at Boston-based engineering firm VHB, which processes nearly 20,000 payables invoices annually and served as a PAT 3.0 beta site. “I have to co-sign any vendor check over $5,000. With PAT 3.0, I can search for issued checks greater than $5,000 and review the supporting vendor invoices online prior to signing the check. If I don’t get to all the checks at once, I can save the search and come back to it. That’s a big time saver,” Dinn noted.
Additional improvements with the new version of PAT include the ability to:
- Import comma separated values (csv) files or other text files by line, which automatically creates a voucher line for each transaction to eliminate extra data entry.
- Save and import employee check requests for faster approval and processing.
- View and print audit reports by user-selected criteria to save time.
