ALM Connect Enhances Visibility and Traceability by Enabling Enterprises to Manage Mission-Critical ALM Integrations from a Single Solution

VersionOne, the independent leader in agile lifecycle management, today announced the introduction of ALM Connect, an enterprise integration solution for connecting the VersionOne Enterprise Agile Platform to the world’s most popular application lifecycle management (ALM) systems. ALM Connect gives software organizations the ability to easily manage their ALM integrations from one intuitive, web-based interface.

In the last decade, the proliferation of best-of-breed ALM tools has caused many organizations to move away from integrated, homogeneous technology stacks to manage their development activities. In addition, the scaling of agile development practices has underscored the need for visibility across organizational boundaries. In response to these trends, ALM Connect integrates VersionOne with key ALM systems to provide visibility and coordination across today’s heterogeneous development environments. The product’s flexible, web-based administration provides seamless bi-directional or uni-directional integrations and the ability to perform field-level mapping, configure custom rules, and automate conflict resolution.

“Today’s software organizations need to move quickly and efficiently, without wasting time and money dealing with fragmented data, poor visibility, and inadequate traceability across multiple systems,” said VersionOne CEO and Co-founder Robert Holler. “ALM Connect synchronizes the most popular software development tools with VersionOne to provide a single system of record for organizations’ enterprise-wide agile development processes.”

ALM Connect is a key component of VersionOne’s integration strategy of enabling organizations to use best-of-breed development tools, while maintaining visibility and traceability of the flow of data across these tools from within VersionOne. ALM Connect is powered by OpsHub, a leading provider of ALM integration and migration solutions.

“By leveraging OpsHub’s technology, VersionOne is enabling its customers to easily synchronize their tools in real-time across a heterogeneous ALM environment,” said Sandeep Jain, President and CEO of OpsHub. “At the same time, customers will realize the immediate benefits of improved visibility and traceability resulting in greater business agility and productivity.”
