Money Management Institute’s Industry Leadership Awards recognize innovation and achievement in the advisory solutions industry

Advisor Group is proud to announce that they have been named Money Management Institute’s (MMI) Advisory Solutions Sponsor Distribution Team of the Year. One of the largest independent broker-dealer networks in the nation, Advisor Group was recognized as the sponsor firm that exhibited the most effective distribution strategy and execution, successfully linking marketing and sales, and achieving significant absolute and relative growth in net sales.

Winners of MMI’s Industry Awards were announced on Wednesday, April 20th at the annual fundraiser dinner to benefit MMI’s workplace diversity program, “Gateway to Leadership” hosted in Washington, DC. MMI is the national association representing the $4.1 trillion investment advisory solutions and wealth management industry.

Now in their eighth year, the Industry Leadership Awards recognize innovation and achievement in the advisory solutions industry over the past year.

“We are honored to be recognized as the Advisory Solutions Sponsor Distribution Team of the Year,” said Allison Couch Pratt, Executive Vice President of National Sales for Advisor Group. “MMI is one of our industry’s leading organizations and just to be nominated felt like a huge accomplishment. We are particularly proud of the category that we were recognized for as it is representative of the thoughtful and strategic collaboration between the sales team and our marketing partners, as well as the efforts of our platform, information technology, compliance, partner relations, and meetings teams.”

In 2015, Advisor Group built out a National Sales Team to break down existing product silos and provide advisors with unbiased, conflict-free product support. Their infrastructure includes more than 50 advisor facing professionals, both internal and regional, who are responsible for bringing investment solutions and services to independent advisors for use in helping clients achieve their financial goals. Advisor Group recently integrated their Investment Advisory, Insurance, Retirement Plan Consulting, Packaged Product and Advanced Planning services to streamline the firm’s offering in these areas.
