Bronx, NY (PRWEB) May 03, 2016
Calvary Hospital recently hosted a reception to mark a new music program to benefit patients at The Dawn Greene Hospice (DGH), a 10-bed unit located at Mary
Manning Walsh Home (MMW) in Manhattan.
During the school year, a student from Manhattan School of Music (MSM) performs at DGH for half an hour, once a week. The music brings a lot of joy to the patients, family members and staff, according to hospital officials. The program was made possible through the generosity of Dr. Joan Taub Ades, whose husband, Alan, received Calvary’s hospice care. Ades loved opera and classical music.
