Yusen Logistics Mexico, a leading third-party logistics provider, named Jordan Dewart as its new President.
He succeeds Hiroshi Shimizu, who was named President of Yusen Logistics India. Dewart reports to Ken Miyoshi, President and CEO of Yusen Logistics (Americas) Inc., Chief Regional Officer and a member of the Board of Directors.
In his new position, Dewart has responsibility for Yusen Logistics Mexico’s overall performance, including sales, business development and all corporate functions. In addition, he is overseeing the construction of the company’s Bajio Logistics Center, a 55,000-square-foot facility which will serve Mexico’s fast-growing automotive manufacturing industry.
An 18-year company veteran, Dewart most recently served as Vice President of Yusen Logistics Mexico. Since 1995, he has lived and worked in all of the NAFTA member countries. He has expertise in NAFTA customs requirements, asset and non-asset based surface transportation (trucking and intermodal), and global ocean and air freight forwarding.
Dewart earned a Bachelor’s of Commerce degree, with distinction in Spanish American Studies, from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada.
