After the signing of the Licensing Agreement with Restaurant Consultants, Inc. in April, Dreyfuss completed an intensive restaurant consultant training program at the home office in Denver. This training insures that he is knowledgeable in the RCI processes and equipped to handle almost any situation that comes his way. Dreyfuss has his work cut out for him as there are 11,000 restaurants in Colorado. Restaurant Consultants, Inc. conceptual “Rule of three’s” states that at any one time, one-third of all Colorado restaurants (or 3,666 restaurants) are challenged with eminent closure because these are not successful operations for a variety of reasons. Another one-third of the restaurants in the State will struggle to a point where they’ll either be converted, rebranded or sold within a 12-month period. The remaining one-third of all restaurants will be successful and enjoy a normal life-span of about five to seven years.
