(PRWEB) June 03, 2016
Integrated population health in general medical care has become a high priority for health advocates, however, little attention has been given to the important linkage between general health and behavioral health. Emerging technologies make it possible to coordinate and manage care for behavioral health patients with greater efficacy and better outcomes. Richard Surles, Ph.D., and Candace Saldarini, M.D., of ODH, Inc., a leading provider of behavioral health analytics solutions, will be speaking on this topic at the Mental Health America 2016 Annual Pre-Conference in Alexandria, Va. on Tuesday, June 7, 2016.
The session, titled “Behavioral Population Health: Breakthrough Analytics for Integrating Care and Improving Outcomes,” will focus on new approaches to data analytics and care coordination in behavioral health. Dr. Surles and Dr. Saldarini will be joined by Mental Health America senior science advisor, David Shern, Ph.D., and Rusty Selix, J.D., on the panel to discuss the need for a tighter linkage between general health and behavioral health. The panelists will also discuss ODH’s Mentrics™, a leading-edge population health management platform designed to help managed care organizations transform the quality and cost of behavioral healthcare, and how it can substantially improve the management of care quality, outcomes and cost of behavioral healthcare.
