Performance marketing specialists Webgains will be running the affiliate programme for the Mothercare family of brands: ELC and Mothercare. The move in networks represents the first major change for the programmes since their launch over six years ago. Following new appointments in its ecommerce and acquisition teams, Mothercare is keen to breathe fresh life into the programme and realise its full potential as a part of the brand’s overall marketing strategy.
Stephen Kerin, Webgains’ managing director said: “Webgains has a record of successfully migrating and growing enterprise level clients from other major networks. To have both Mothercare and ELC among this number is fantastic and we expect our new Powerfeed technology which launches this summer to be instrumental in driving growth for the brand.”
Gary Kibble, Global Brand and Marketing Director, said: “We’re really excited about the possibilities Webgains can offer for Mothercare. The Webgains team have some brilliant ideas about how to expand our online presence and we’re looking forward to starting work on our strategy for launch and beyond.”
The programme is expected to launch by August in line with Mothercare’s new ecommerce site, with a full migration complete by September.
