While most of us have figured out how to send and receive emails by now, there are some nuances of this form of communication that are not common sense.

While using email has become a common means of communication in today’s workplace, there is always room to improve when it comes to best practices and email etiquette. MasteryTCN’s newest series, “Email Matters,” helps employees build business relationships and elevate customer service efforts via email.
The series consists of 18 vignette-style courses, each no more than 5 minutes or so in length, which present on a specific best practice for using email internally and externally. While most of us have figured out how to send and receive emails by now, there are some nuances of this form of communication that are not common sense. These short vignettes demonstrate specific practices for crafting professional and effective business emails.
Some of the topics cover the basics, such as using the address fields and writing opening and closing lines. Others explore topics such as using jargon, handling irate customers, and when to use the infamous “reply all” function. These courses provide great reminders and tips to get the most of professional emails.
Each of the vignettes can be taken as a stand-alone course, or all 18 are available in one course published as a collection, “Email Matters: Complete Collection.” Each of these animated vignettes demonstrates a best practice for email, and ends with a short assessment to measure learner comprehension. Each course also includes a downloadable key points document to help you remember what was covered. These courses make for great training on their own, or used as a series, whichever works best for the organization.
All of these courses have been published on MasteryTCN’s courseware platform, which means users benefit from the ability to train on every device, including smartphones, tablets, desktops, and laptops. All MasteryTCN courses are compatible with any SCORM Learning Management System.
