TV, out-of-home and social media ads showcase popular menu items

New Orleans Hamburger & Seafood Company introduced a new advertising campaign this summer titled “Food You Love.”

The campaign highlights the common connection between fun summer moments with an authentically local dish like thin fried catfish, as well as American staples such as hamburgers and soft serve ice cream.

“The idea behind ‘Food You Love’ is to reinforce New Orleans Hamburger & Seafood Company as authentically local,” said Paul McGoey, CEO for New Orleans Hamburger & Seafood Company. “We wanted to have fun with this campaign and set a tone that made our customers think and laugh, while we promote items that are so important to our culture and the summer experience."

The campaign includes a series of out-of-home ads and :15 TV spots that focus on three menu items:

Thin Fried Catfish – A long time top-selling item, thin fried catfish is synonymous with the local palate and the New Orleans Hamburger & Seafood Company menu.

Gourmet Burgers – Citing its commitment to freshness, all New Orleans Hamburger & Seafood Company gourmet burgers are made with never frozen, 100% ground chuck beef.

Soft Serve Ice Cream – Highlighting a perk enjoyed by all New Orleans Hamburger & Seafood Company patrons, soft serve ice cream is always free.

The TV ads feature a humorous point-of-view with New Orleans Hamburger & Seafood Company serving as relief from summer heat and lifestyles with instantly recognizable items positioned as “Food You Love.” Out-of-home ads support each menu item highlighted during the TV ads.

The campaign includes social media as part of the ad mix, where fans are encouraged to share items of “Food You Love,” including a “Show Me Your Self Serve” contest where fans will be encouraged to share pictures of their soft serve ice cream cones, with winners highlighted on the restaurant’s various social pages.
