Theatre West Virginia is making musical magic this summer. Catch Beatlemania Magic, a Tribute to The Beatles, Saturday July 16th and Ring of Fire, the music of Johnny Cash, July 20th-30th. Tickets and group discounts are available at http://www.theatrewestvirginia.org or by calling the Theatre West Virginia box office at (304) 256-6800.

Beatlemania Magic, a tribute to The Beatles, recreates the magic of “Beatlemania” by replicating identical costumes, equipment, and perfected harmonies of the beloved Beatles. The recreation of their music is uncanny as performances emulate the 1964 Ed Sullivan and touring look, the experimental Sgt. Pepper era, and finally the look of Abbey Road, which changed the way popular music was created forever.

Ring of Fire showcases the music of the legendary American music pioneer Johnny Cash while also preserving the memory of the country music icon. Ring of Fire honors and pays homage to the music of the Man in Black. Johnny Cash's booming deep bass voice is surely one of the most recognizable in country music history. While his vocal range was unique and simple, it was incredibly effective at conveying the plight of the common man. Ring of Fire's uncanny recreation of Johnny Cash's one of a kind music and mystique is sure to leave Theatre West Virginia audiences mesmerized while evoking the Man in Black's deep, resonant baritone, spare, percussive guitar and original outlaw country spirit.

Every performance Theatre West Virginia hosts is just minutes away from downtown Beckley West Virginia at the Cliffside Amphitheater located at 4700 Grandview Road in Beaver, WV. The amphitheater is inside Grandview Park along the New River Gorge National River. The scenic view of the New River Gorge and the beautifully designed amphitheater in Grandview has attracted over one million outdoor music lovers. Visitors to the area enjoy world class whitewater rafting, the Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine, Tamarack of West Virginia, Glade Springs Resort, and many more fun-packed summer activities. Beckley is easily accessibly by interstates 64 and 77, Beckley Raleigh County Airport with a daily non-stop flights and Amtrak’s Cardinal train service.
