In October 2014, the client approached the team at Asahi Technologies and tasked them with developing a digital solution. Being a non-profit, they were looking to streamline the way their members around the world communicated among themselves — all with one portal.
The client is a not-for-profit association focused on trade opportunities, economic development and facilitating international business connections.
The organization required a custom web application that increased awareness about its global mission while also providing its membership community with a user-friendly platform for effective communication. The organization primary goal was to maintain a cohesive platform and provide the desired value and connectivity for members of the association.

Asahi Technologies built various software solutions including an online platform that facilitated service request management, increased cooperation among members, staff and administrators, and improved accountability among members. The corporate portal was built using Ruby on Rails and provided the scalability required for additional features.
The solution also equipped administration teams with automatic escalation workflows, insights and data about member interaction and communication among other useful add-on tools for the organization members.
