Delray Beach, Florida (PRWEB) August 10, 2016
David I. Shiner and the Shiner Law Group recently sponsored the 33rd Annual National Night Out Against Crime Rally at the Delray Beach Tennis Center! Presented in partnership with the Delray Beach Police Department, the completely-free event was held to prevent crime and drugs in our local neighborhoods, featuring giveaways, prizes, and several other fun activities. Despite rain, the event still managed to draw an amazing crowd and was a complete success.
This marks the second year in a row that Shiner Law Group has participated in the event, with the firm having set up various contests and prize giveaways at its own sponsored tent. Shiner the Shark, the mascot of the firm’s safety education program, was in attendance to meet with children and give away backpacks full of school supplies to children in need in Delray Beach.
Other activities included live music, food, entertainment, and various fun activities for children. Representatives from the Delray Beach police force were in attendance and performed numerous live demonstrations involving Delray Beach Police Department’s K-9 response team. City officials and members of the city commission were also in attendance to meet with members of the general public.
Having been founded by the National Association of Town Watch in 1984, the National Night Out Event is now held in towns and cities throughout the nation to encourage community safety and unity. The Boca Raton personal injury lawyers at Shiner Law Group are proud to be involved with this great cause and look forward to continuing to offer its support in the future.
