Appleton, WI (PRWEB) August 11, 2016
A third party administrator (TPA) headquartered in Appleton, Wisconsin, with four additional locations across the United States, Cypress Benefit Administrators has hired Tami Eddie to serve as the National Sales Director at its Omaha location.
Eddie has more than 20 years of professional business experience in the health care industry, including her most recent role where she led the sales efforts of a national TPA for the past eight years.
At Cypress, Eddie will focus on continuing the development of Cypress’s rapidly expanding book of business on a national level. She will also work directly with the TPA’s broker partners and employers to implement the administration of the many cost-saving programs that Cypress offers to clients and their health benefit plans.
“We are excited to welcome Tami to our sales team,” said Tom Doney, president and CEO of Cypress. “She brings a great base of knowledge and real-world experience in self-funding, and she is recognized in many markets throughout the country for her ability to align clients with the right solutions for controlling their health care costs.” Doney added, “Tami will be an important asset to Cypress’s expansion efforts.”
Having established her versatile skillset in business over the years, Eddie is a licensed agent in multiple states, a Registered Health Underwriter (RHU), a Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC) and a member of the Nebraska and Omaha Associations of Health Underwriters.
“Cypress is recognized nationally as a leader in employee benefits across the country, and I’m happy to be a part of this dynamic team,” Eddie said. “I look forward to introducing The Cypress Solution to brokers, consultants and employers in Nebraska and throughout the country.”
